'Best of the West End'
This show forms the basis of our summer season which runs from May through to September. Performed at Shanklin Theatre with a professional cast and live band, the show changes every year, but always contains songs and dance routines from a huge variety of musicals. From traditional favourites like 'Oliver!' and 'Oklahoma', through to more modern material from the likes of Andrew Lloyd-Webber, our hard-working cast will entertain you with comedy routines, beautiful solos, and vibrant, exciting chorus numbers - we guarantee to have you tapping your feet and singing along!
2014 shows, all at 8.15pm
Thursday evenings May to September
& Wednesday evenings in July and September
Christmas Pantomime
We have been running our traditional family panto for more than ten years now.Our pantomime is always an excellent blend of tradition, combined with more up to date material. The music in the show ranges from Disney, to pop, to musical theatre, and the hilarious script includes plenty of "Oh no it isn't!" and "It's behind you!", as well as contemporary jokes and references. There really is something for every member of the family!
At Christmas, we supplement our professional cast with the senior members of our stage schools. Combine this with a brilliant live band, impressive set, and stunning costumes, and you have the perfect recipe for a fantastic show!
Kids Show
Every summer term, thousands of kids visit the Isle of Wight on a school trip, and for many of them, a trip to our Kids Show is the highlight of their stay. Schools often combine seeing the show with attending one of our Whirlwind Workshops. The show is a sort of 'summer pantomime' crossed with a pop concert. A hilarious script, songs from bands like One Direction and Jessie J., and the audience being encouraged to join in as much as possible makes for a raucous night of entertainment for the young - or young at heart!
This is our busiest show of the year, with many of the performances selling out well in advance, so if you want to come along, best book up soon!
